The FROG @ease System for Jacuzzi Hot Tubs uses the same proven FROG mineral formula and SmartChlor Technology to deliver clean, clear, and soft water while fitting conveniently in most filter cartridges designed for Jacuzzi Hot Tubs. The @ease System uses a time-released method to use less chlorine that requires little maintenance and automatically adjusts output based on usage.

This system includes 1 mineral cartridge (blue), 1 SmartChlor cartridge (silver) 1 Jump Start package and 1 bottle of @ease Test Strips.

Designed to fit spas from the following series:
  • J-300
  • J-400
  • J-500
Mineral cartridges last 3-4 months based on hot tub usage and size. SmartChlor cartridges last 3-4 weeks based on hot tub usage and size.

This means for a full 4 month supply, you will need 1 blue mineral cartridge and about 4 silver SmartChlor cartridges.

Special Note: Unfortunately, Individual Frog @ease SmartChlor cartridges for Jacuzzi Hot Tubs are not sold separately. We have requested that the Mineral cartridges (blue) be made available on an individual basis from the manufacturer, and if that becomes an option we will add that to our product listing, as soon as we are able.

Packaging Note: As Jacuzzi Spas and Sundance Spas are owned by the same manufacturer, this product is the same product as FROG @ease System for Sundance Spas with different external packaging. 

While the silver cartridge (chlorine) will come in a bag, the blue cartridge (mineral) will not be in a bag. This is how it is distributed from the manufacturer. 

Also, the blue cartridge may look partially filled, as it uses ceramic beads coated in metals, like coper. The media does only fill a portion of the available empty space in the blue housing. That is normal. After 4 months of use, the beads will remain in the blue cartridge. However, the contents of the silver chlorine cartridge will dissolve completely and the housing will be empty after use.
